Epagneul Breton Gun Dog Club of Georgia

I worked 40 years in computer systems analysis for Western Electric/ATT/Lucent/IBM.  I was introduced to rabbit hunting when I was in Greensboro, NC in the late 60's and loved it.  After getting transferred to Atlanta with family and an increasing work load,  I never got back into hunting.  As I was about to retire,  my wife (now deceased) convinced me that I needed a hunting dog (actually she wanted the dog more than I did !).  She arranged to get a French Brittany that was from a litter of puppies out of one of Fred Overby's best dogs 'Hoss'.  Of course all I saw was a sweet, athletic,  and somewhat independant puppy.  Only later did I realize how instictive a hunter he was and I have loved the time I have shared with my 'Blackjack Sam'.   I have had to curtail my hunting due to health but I intend to be a member of this club till I croak.  Long live the club !
